Brought
up in the music scene, as my Father was a professional bass player.
I started playing at age 4, at the age of 12 I played on a
nationally televised Hertz commercial jingle in the late 70’s(OJ
Simpson jumping over luggage) I made All County Band on drum set at
age 13. As a youngster my Dad brought me to many shows and
rehearsals and most times I was allowed to sit next to some of
these great players, Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie, Buddy Williams and
Alan Schwartzberg, Elliott Randall to name a few. This is where it
all started.
I was a member of the John Paul Band
based in Long Island. One of the best on Long Island comprised of
professionals with many credits. Booked for over 125 jobs a year. Played
on the Spirit of New York, a cruise ship playing show tunes where
reading charts was a must!! I also preform various studio work
in New York City, worked with Anthony Robustelli (Kelly Price)
Nunzio Signori (Brian McKnight) of ShadyBear records. I
also Teach Privately. And the most important of them all I Play in
the pocket and have good time.
Currently I am a
member of the hot Connecticut band FakeID. I just received and endorsement
from Traps Drums, the ultra compact kit with a big sound. I also
incorporate samples with a Roland SPD-S Sample Pad.
